    Eagle Fire: Blaze near Corona grows to 450 acres; evacuations ordered

    A wildfire near Corona reached 450 acres and was 0% contained Sunday afternoon, the Riverside County Fire Department announced on X at 5 p.m. That was about three hours after it started.

    The department issued an evacuation order for an area north of Farley Avenue, east of Verdino Circle and both south and west of Cajalco Road.

    Evacuation warnings were also issued for an area north of Dawson Canyon Road, south of Cajalco Road and Dawson Canyon Road, east of Dawson Canyon Road and Foster Road and west of Lake Mathews Drive.

    The department said the fire erupted east of Corona, at the intersection of Cajalco Road and Eagle Canyon Road.

    No injuries had been reported.
