Grammy-winning Willie Nelson to grace Corpus Christi in October

Legendary musician Willie Nelson will return to Corpus Christi with his band, Willie Nelson & Family, Saturday, Oct. 19.

Willie Nelson has performed in the Sparkling City by the Sea countless times, and even filmed a few scenes from his 1980 film, "Honeysuckle Rose," in town.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at noon Friday. They can be purchased online at concretestreet.net .

Throughout his career, Willie Nelson has released 101 studio albums, 14 live albums, 51 compilation albums and 41 video albums. He has won 15 Grammy Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000, an award Selena won posthumously in 2021.

His next album, "Last Leaf on the Tree," is set to release in November.
