Sanostee man pleads guilty in fatal drunken driving crash
A Sanostee man pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque for his involvement in a fatal drunken driving crash. Leonardo Robbie Duncan, 33, admitted he was driving while intoxicated on Aug. 12, 2023, when he crossed the center line on Navajo Route 36 near Upper Fruitland. Duncan admitted in court that he “crashed head-on into the passenger side” of a vehicle, killing the man and woman inside of it, according to court records.

After more than a year sitting vacant, International District Walmart may get new owner
The Walmart in Albuquerque’s International District has been closed for more than 16 months — but the 206,000-square-foot building may not remain vacant much longer. On July 5, a commercial real estate website updated the listing of the former Walmart on San Mateo Boulevard near Central Avenue SE to “under contract.” The supercenter was built in 1994 and was added to the website on May 1, 2023.
John Dodson ready to put on a good show in Japan
