SaddleBrooke Niners Ladies Golf Support Girls Golf of Tucson
The SaddleBrooke Niners Ladies’ Golf Association made a generous donation to LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Arizona at their luncheon held on Tuesday, June 11. This active group of young ladies, age five to 17, participate in several golf clinics and on-course events throughout the year. Chris Hubbard, representative, accepted this donation on behalf of this organization and shared information about this active group. 2024 Richard S. Schultz ’60 Symposium Fellows announced
Lilian Lu, a junior, is the first of two Norwich University students named Richard S. Schultz ’60 Symposium Fellows for 2024-25. A remarkable student from Tucson, Arizona, Lu’s academic journey at Norwich has been one of distinct achievement and commitment. Currently, she is pursuing an intensive 4+1 Accelerated Master’s program in Computer Science and Information Assurance with a concentration in Digital Forensics. Lu’s intellectual versatility and dedication are shown through her triple minors in Chinese, Information Warfare, and History in Naval Studies.

2024 Arizona football season countdown: 36 days to kickoff
A LOOK BACK — NO. 36 GILBERT HARRIS. With it being the 36th day until kickoff between the Lobos and Wildcats, the best player to wear No. 36 for Arizona is running back Gilbert Harris, who played with the Wildcats from 2002 to 2005. He broke out for a career-high 113 rushing yards against UCLA in 2005 when Arizona upset the No. 7 Bruins 52-14. He went on to play briefly for the Kansas City Chiefs. Harris, who was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and is now 40, and former Arizona soccer standout Kaity Harris are married and live in Gilbert with their two children. He is now a financial consultant for an investment services firm and Kaity is an elementary-school principal in the Higley School District.

Arizona Baseball 2025: Caulfield Returns, Russell Likely to Pass on Pros
Arizona Wildcats baseball player Garen Caulfield will return for the 2025 season, along with most of the team's starting position players, as none were selected in the MLB Draft and have not signed free agent deals. Top freshman Mason Russell, also expected to stay with Arizona, has until Aug. 1 to sign with the Cincinnati Reds. The team has finalized its nonconference schedule, including tournaments against top-ranked opponents.
