CORTLAND, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Cortland County Health Department confirmed a worker at Queen Subs, located at 43 Port Watson Street in the city of Cortland, was diagnosed with hepatitis A.

The health department says the risk to customers of Queen Subs is low but will be offering vaccines to those who were potentially exposed out of an abundance of caution.

You must get the vaccine within two weeks of possible exposure for it to be effective.

The vaccine clinics will held at the Cortland County Office Building Room 107 at 60 Central Avenue in the city of Cortland on Friday, July 12, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you were at Queen Subs more than two weeks ago and past the window to receive a vaccine, you should monitor yourself for symptoms, including yellow skin or eyes, lack of appetite, stomach pain, vomiting, joint pain, and fatigue.
