CORTLAND, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — You ask, we answer!

An update on the Your Stories Q&A!

The WellNow in Cortland which’s been closed for more than a year , will reopen Monday, July 22nd.

The Cortland location at 1092 N.Y. Route 222, closed in March of 2023. The company always described it as a “temporary closing,” and said it was eager to reopen once it could hire nurse practitioners and physician assistants needed for the location.

“There is currently a shortage of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in New York, which are vital roles in being able to offer a full range of urgent care services,” a WellNow spokesperson said in March of 2023.

When it reopens, it will operate as a full-service urgent care for the first time since the location opened in 2022. Before closing, it only served as a COVID-19 testing center.

The WellNow will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
