David Erich Zager

November 7, 2001 – January 16, 2024 - David Zager, age 22, passed away in Corvallis, Oregon, on January 16, 2024.

David is survived by his brother Eddie; parents Jackie Zager and Keith Mac Donald (Lake Oswego, OR); grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins across the US and Japan.

David was a senior at Oregon State University Honors College, pursuing a BS Computer Science (Cybersecurity) degree, for which he received multiple scholarships. David recently returned from Washington DC, where he planned to contribute to the defense of our country, working for a government agency (NSA, FBI, or Homeland).

David was known for his infectious smile and caring heart. His legacy is one of kindness, brilliance, and selflessness.
