City Of Manning Donating A Newly Developed Lot To The IKM-Manning School District
The Manning City Council has approved donating one of the Stadium View Drive lots to the IKM-Manning School District for the school’s upcoming trade project. Back in June, the school district approved partnering up with Manning Municipal Utilities (MMU) to provide students with a work-based learning of the different trades used when constructing a new house. Once completed, the house will become available for purchase by interested buyers. The other homes in the neighborhood are currently being designed and constructed by Origin Homes, a custom-home building contractor based out of West Des Moines. Those interested in learning more about the work-based learning school program can call Jeremey Carroll at MMU at 712-655-3905, or questions about the Stadium View Drive lots available can be directed to City Administrator Dawn Meyer at 712-655-2176.
