    Missing firefighters found dead in East Tennessee, police in Georgia say

    COSBY, Tenn. (WATE) — Cocke County deputies and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation special agents are investigating after two people were found dead in Cosby on Sunday.

    The Hinesville Police Department in Georgia said Sunday afternoon that the bodies of missing firefighters Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander, were found in Cocke County, Tennessee.

    Anderson and Kuhbander were reported missing out of Liberty County, Georgia on Tuesday, June 25. According to WSAV , both were firefighters with the Liberty County Fire Department.

    Knox County community rallies to preserve local ballpark

    Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball confirmed that two people were found dead inside a vehicle along Hollow Road in Cosby on Sunday morning. Ball and a TBI spokesperson did not release the identities of the deceased.

    The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media just after 7 a.m. Sunday that the last known location of Anderson and Kuhbander was in the Cosby area and that they were traveling in a dark-colored 2017 Ford Focus with Georgia license plate GEX655.
