    Two in custody after incident in which a man was struck by a vehicle in his own driveway

    COSHOCTON − Two individuals were taken into custody following an incident in which a man was struck by a vehicle in his driveway.

    The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the incident that occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, in the 500 block of West Chestnut Street.

    Authorities said man reported his vehicle was parked in his driveway when it was struck by another vehicle. He then got into an altercation with the male passenger in the other vehicle, which then struck him and left the scene.

    The victim was examined for injuries at Genesis of Coshocton Medical Center. The vehicle which struck him was located a short time later and the male passenger and female driver were taken into custody. Their names were not released, pending the filing of formal charges. The matter is under review by the Coshocton County Prosecutor's Office.

    Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Coshocton Fire Department and Prince's Wrecker Service.
