    YVES SAINT LAURENT: LINE AND EXPRESSION

    In creating his fashion designs, French couturier Yves Saint Laurent created hundreds of sketches. He drew with pencil on paper, capturing his choices of material and reflecting the colors of his surroundings, often while visiting Marrakech, Morocco. The exhibit, organized by the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech and Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, displays the thought process of a fashion icon.     CELTIC THRONE: THE ROYAL JOURNEY OF IRISH DANCE

    Dancers from the Carey Academy of Irish Dance present a show exploring the

    THE SAWDUST ART FESTIVAL

    Local artists and makers selling their prints, jewelry, paintings, and sculpture set up booths here every summer, and visitors browse as they stroll along the sawdust-covered paths.     “SALVADOR DALI”

    The exhibit displays some of the Surrealist painter’s lesser-known works from the personal collection of Benjamin Feldman, including “Les Amoureux (The Lovers)” and “Pantagruel.” The Spanish artist, who drew inspiration from Picasso and Miró, was known for his technical skill and for the bizarre images in his work.     “WOODY SINGS: THE MUSICAL LEGACY OF WOODY GUTHRIE”
