    Missing Costa Mesa woman found: Costa Mesa PD

    ** Costa Mesa Police confirms Toyoka has been found.**

    Police asked for public help to find an 84-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease who went missing Thursday in Costa Mesa.

    Toyoka Higa Augustus was last seen at her home in the 3000 block of Nevada Avenue around 12:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Costa Mesa police.

    Augustus is Asian American. She stands 4 feet, 8 inches tall and has gray and black short hair with dark brown eyes, police reported.

    She was last seen wearing a black blouse  with blue-and-pink flowers, white pants and white shoes, police reported.

    Anyone who knows her whereabouts was asked to call Costa Mesa police at 714-754-5252. Tipsters can also call OC Crime Stoppers at 855-847-6227.
