Rape Allegations Against ‘Nice Guy’ Garth Brooks Shock Nashville
News that “nice guy” Garth Brooks is accused in a lawsuit of brutally raping his longtime hair and makeup artist was “shocking” to some members of the tight-knit Nashville music scene, People reported. Until this week, the country music star and self-avowed wife guy’s biggest controversy was apparently his refusal to stream his music on Apple Music and Spotify. Brooks and his wife, singer Trisha Yearwood, “are the king and queen of Nashville—he literally refers to her as the queen,” a source told People. On Thursday, that image was called into question when a woman who did the couple’s hair and makeup for 15 years filed a lawsuit in California alleging Brooks had sexually assaulted and harassed her in 2019 and 2020. When Brooks learned the woman planned to sue, he filed a pre-emptive, anonymous suit in Tennessee asking a court to quash the allegations before they’d even been made, saying the woman had invented the alleged abuse in an attempt to extort him. Despite the lawsuit, Brooks performed Thursday as planned at his Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas.Read it at PeopleRead more at The Daily Beast.
Alabama Defensive Back Smacked Vanderbilt Wide Receiver In The Helmet
It appears some players on Alabama have lost their composure this Saturday afternoon against Vanderbilt. Alabama came into this weekend's game with a ton of confidence, and rightfully so. Last weekend, Kalen DeBoer's squad defeated Georgia in one of the best regular-season games the college ...
A day I never thought I would see as an Alabama Fan
I've seen a lot of crazy things as an Alabama fan but this is a day I never thought I'd see. Vanderbilt not only won the game but did so in convincing fashion. Diego Pavia put on a performance of a lifetime and the Alabama defense had no answers all day. I kept looking to see if Pete Golding was somehow back on the sidelines calling plays. This defense couldn't stop a nosebleed when a stop was most needed and kudos to Vanderbilt for taking advantage on seemingly every possession.

The Commodores struck early, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter, including a pick-six, to take a 13-7 lead into the second quarter. The game continued with a string...
