Pinkie's celebrates 90 years, here's a look into company's history
What started with a redheaded Prohibition revolutionary recently celebrated its 90th anniversary of business in Texas, according to a company news release. Pinkie's, a Texas-born chain for alcoholic beverages, was incorporated in March 1934, less than 1 year after the end of the Prohibition. The business is named after its creator, Thomas "Pinkie" Roden, who ran the business until the late 1980s.
