UPMC welcomes pain management doctor to Coudersport

Coudersport, Pa. — UPMC has added a new physician to the care team in Coudersport.

Pawan Solanki, M.D. will support the pain management team in Bradford by providing appointments via telehealth.

Dr. Solanki obtained his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University, Rootstown, Ohio, and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, N.Y. Most recently, Dr. Solanki completed a fellowship in chronic pain medicine with UPMC in Pittsburgh.

“Moving from an urban area, I am eager to bring my experience to a more rural setting, where I believe the opportunity for personalized patient care is immense,” said Dr. Solanki. “I look forward to building strong relationships and providing comprehensive care to help our patients lead healthier, more comfortable lives.”

Dr. Solanki is joining the UPMC Pain Management teams located in Coudersport and Bradford, and he is eager to partner with Amy Sorg, CRNP, to deliver these needed services in the north central region.
