Community News – August 1, 2024
Hello from Enville! Another month is gone. Where did July go? We blinked, and it was over. August is here, and so is the new school year for our Chester County students. I cannot believe all our grands are in high school. Reece is a freshman, and Blake and Brayden are seniors. Boy, they are making us feel old, ha-ha. I pray all students, faculty and board members have a safe year. Our church, Sanford Hill Baptist Church, had a “Blessing of the Backpacks” service on Sunday where all students and backpacks were prayed over, and the students were given a bible verse to attach to their backpacks. This is such a meaningful service! Churches from the community will participate in a school prayer walk at all Chester County schools; members can go to whichever school to pray for their students, the faculty and the school for a safe year. This will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4.
