Madelyn Rose is not just another teenage music sensation. She wants to figure out life as she lives, and she doesn't expect that life to be easy.

Raised in a small town in central New York that Rose said has "more cows than people," Rose found herself drawn to the country genre. She began piano lessons from an early age, and fell in love with what music could be for her.

She had to overcome her tendency towards shyness, and we are sure glad she did. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she would perform outdoors for family and friends in order to become more comfortable on the stage.

"I was super shy. All through Covid, I stared to branch out and started to write my own music. You really can't be a singer/performer without going out and sharing your music. I had to get rid of the shyness, which for a while, was really hard."

Despite her shyness, Rose debuted her first single "Taillights Fade" in January 2023 after signing with the label company Vere Music. She did not slow down after her debut and continued on to release her first full EP in July 2023.

Her first taste of the music industry left her wanting more.

Not even one year after her first EP, Rose dropped another single, giving us a preview into her upcoming EP. "Cowboys" (the single) dropped on June 21, 2024, and it was evident that Rose was coming at music from a different angle.

In an exclusive interview with Rose, she voiced her interpretation of her upcoming EP:

"With this EP, it's a completely different vibe than my first one. My first one was kind of about heartbreak and learning from it, and my second EP, "Cowboys," is kind of [about] coming out through the other side and realizing, 'So what?' You get your heart broke, it's part of life, everyone goes through it, and just have fun with the fun part of love."

At the beginning of August, she dropped another piece of her second EP, "Save It." The whole EP is set to release September 6, and Rose can't wait for people to hear it.

Just as Rose came into music through examples like Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, she dreams to be that person for someone else.

"I want anyone who listens to connect with the lyrics and realize that they are not alone," said Rose.

Rose is just getting started in the industry, and she will continue to build her confidence and legacy on the stage. Stream her new EP on September 6, and keep up with her career wherever you stream your music.
