    2024-06-17

06.15.2024 | 9:30 PM | TUSTIN - Shots rang out in a quiet neighborhood as a U.S. Secret Service agent opened fire on several suspects who robbed him at gunpoint, Saturday night.

The volley of gunfire was heard around 9:30 PM near the intersection of Stratus Lane and Westwind Drive shortly after three suspects in a dark colored SUV approached a U.S. Secret Service agent walking home and robbed him of his bag at gunpoint.

The suspects soon fled as the agent opened fire on their vehicle with his own weapon. The gunfire reportedly struck the passenger side of the suspects' SUV, described by police as a silver 2004-2006 Infiniti FX35 or similar.
