A Princeton restaurant is celebrating its anniversary with free food. Here's how to get it

More than a dozen years ago, Jammin’ Crepes didn't have a brick-and-mortar home, but it was a West Windsor Farmers Market favorite.

Serving crepes made-to-order and stuffed with micro-batch jams and farm-sourced ingredients, Jammin’ Crepes frequently drew a line on market days. It was at the forefront of the dawn of the farm-to-table movement and farmers market craze.

Jammin' Crepes found a home at 20 Nassau St. in Princeton 10 years ago and it’s only grown with a food truck and cafe at the Princeton Public Library. It got even busier after 2016, when Jammin' Crepes’ turkey club crepe and 20-layer orchard lemon crepe cake were featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives."

The restaurant is celebrating its 10-year milestone with free giveaways from Oct. 15-20. The first 10 guests who visit each day that week who wish them "Happy Anniversary" will receive a free crepe.

Plus, Jammin' Crepes will offer free samples of items like the 20-layer pumpkin spice crepe cake, deep dish apple cobbler, harvest apple jam, spicy apple chutney, roasted sweet potato hummus, pumpkin shortbread cookies and new autumn mac n’ cheese.

“It’s been an exciting journey filled with challenges as well as many rewarding triumphs,” said Kim Rizk, who co-owns the business alongside Amin Rizk and Kathy Klockenbrink, in a new release.

“Most of all it’s been an enriching experience that reinforced for us the importance and power of teamwork and community. Thanks to all that have helped along the way to make our small business dream a reality. Bon appetit!”
