CHERRY HILL — The latest attraction at Cherry Hill Mall isn't in the shopping center.

Instead, a bounce park with 25,000 square feet of inflatable amusements is scheduled to operate in the mall’s parking lot each Friday through Sunday until Oct. 20.

FUNBOX , with an Aug. 30 opening date, describes itself as “the world’s biggest bounce park." Its attractions, available during 80-minute sessions, include a towering slide, an obstacle course and an inflated castle.

Tickets start at $19 for an 80-minute session over its first two weekends — Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 and Sept. 6-8.

After that, tickets are to start at $28 for all patrons older than 2 years of age. A senior discount is available.

FUNBOX, a California-based firm that's grown through franchising, has 27 locations in 21 states, and the Cherry Hill Mall site is its first in New Jersey.

Hours of operation are set for 3 to 7 p.m. Fridays, and 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Among other rules, FUNBOX requires shoes to be placed in a storage structure before patrons can start jumping. Safety measures include no rough play, no flipping and “no pregnant jumpers.”

The inflatable-based business also has a ban on sharp objects.

FUNBOX, off Cherry Hill Mall Drive, is among several new and pending arrivals at the shopping center at Route 38 and Haddonfield Road:

    • Dry Goods, which offers apparel for juniors, is coming soon, according to the mall's operator, Philadelphia-based PREIT. The Iowa-based retailer also sells jewelry and accessories.
    • Kooma Asian Fusion and Sushi Bar is to open in the fall, after a $2.5-million makeover of the long-closed California Pizza Kitchen. It's to be the first South Jersey presence for a chain with two locations in Philadelphia's suburbs.
    • Alo Yoga and Columbia Sportswear are expected to open by the holiday shopping season, PREIT said. Alo Yoga offers activewear and lifestyle products. Columbia is an outdoor and sportswear brand.
    • Lacoste and Kendra Scott should arrive this winter. Lacoste, the French fashion brand, is known for its polo shirts and casual wear. Kendra Scott sells jewelry and accessories.
    • Mango, a Spanish retailer specializing in “Mediterranean-inspired fashion” is to debut in the summer of 2025.
