    Two killed in accident near Glassboro on Thursday

    GLASSBORO — A two-vehicle accident on northbound Route 55 resulted in the deaths of both drivers Thursday morning, according to New Jersey State Police in Bellmawr.

    The accident took place between exits 48 and 53 at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday. Police offered no additional details.

    The accident resulted in closing the northbound lanes and diverting traffic to the southbound lane, according to a Facebook posting from the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management.
