Police in Camden County have been issuing more traffic tickets than other South Jersey regions, according to data from the New Jersey Judiciary .

With several main roads leading across New Jersey and into one of the country's most populous cities, officers in Camden handed out approximately 129,496 moving violations between June 2023 and July 2024. Approximately 30,000 fewer tickets were issued in neighboring Burlington County.

These data from New Jersey Courts, which includes municipal and county totals , show a statewide total of nearly 1.88 million tickets were written in the Garden State, a 4% drop from the previous year. These numbers do not include parking tickets or driving while intoxicated arrests.

Overall, traffic tickets in New Jersey are down about 34.5% compared to 10 years ago, when the total was more than 2.86 million.

The 2023-24 statewide total is the lowest number in the last two decades, with the exception of the two pandemic years earlier this decade.

one thing this article just proved is the argument of there's no such thing as Central Jersey because I know Brick township and toms River is definitely not North Jersey and they're not listening here either they refuse to report their numbers or their considered Central Jersey. I've been vindicated
