    South Jersey Mean 15 rankings

    1. Winslow (8-0, last week’s ranking: 1). The Eagles stormed back from only their second deficit of the season and finished off a 47-24 comeback victory at Mainland, clinching at least a share of the American Division title. Winslow rattled off 27 straight points in the second quarter to erase a seven-point deficit. Jalen Parker threw for three touchdowns, including a pair to Nyqir Helton and one on a great catch by Cam Miller. Parker, a sophomore, has thrown for 24 TDs this season, including 15 over the last four weeks. Jayden Poteat returned a kickoff 89 yards for a score as Winslow has posted 145 points combined in its last three games. Next: Saturday vs. Cherokee (4-4).
    2. Millville (6-1, 2). Fresh off its bye week, the Thunderbolts offense was energized and put up a season-high in points with a 57-14 victory at Cherokee. Alabama-bound Lotzeir Brooks made six catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns. The senior raised his career reception total to 200, breaking the previous South Jersey record of 195 set by Cedar Creek’s JoJo Bermudez in 2021. On the ground, Demere White rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday at St. Augustine (5-3).
    3. Holy Spirit (7-1, 3). Jachere “Pops” Ward rushed for a touchdown with 36 seconds left in regulation as Holy Spirit avoided an upset on the road with a 15-13 victory at Ocean City on Friday. The Spartans have won seven in a row. Mason Forte booted three field goals as Holy Spirit took a 9-0 lead into the fourth quarter. The defense allowed just one touchdown and hasn’t allowed more than 14 points in any game during its winning streak. Next: Nov. 1 at St. Joseph Academy (2-6).
    4. Camden (6-2, 6). The Panthers won their second straight game with a 34-17 home triumph against Lenape. Mahki Brunson completed 13 of 20 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns as well as adding two TDs on the ground. Christian Braxton rushed for 156 yards and a TD while Malik Redd-Hubbard caught five passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Next: TBD in Group 2 playoffs.
    5. Rancocas Valley (6-2, 8). The Red Devils rattled off their third straight win in upset fashion, knocking off St. Augustine 20-14 on Saturday. 6. St. Augustine (5-3, 4). The Hermits lost for the second time in three weeks and the third time since Sept. 20 with a 20-14 setback at Rancocas Valley on Saturday. St. Augustine has lost its last three road games. Next: Friday vs. Millville (6-1).

Mainland has yielded 40 or more points twice this season after allowing just 99 total in last year’s 14-0 state championship run. Next: Friday at Delsea (2-5).
    8. Glassboro (7-0, 7). While the Bulldogs were held to their lowest point total of the season, it didn’t stop the team from extending its unbeaten streak to seven with a 20-10 win over Schalick on Friday. Brothers Xavier and Amari Sabb each finished off long touchdown pass plays from 63 and 70 yards, respectively, and Kenny Smith rushed for a short touchdown as Glassboro took a 20-10 lead into the intermission. The Bulldogs have surrendered 10 points in each of their last two games after posting four straight shutouts. Next: Friday vs. Woodstown (7-0).
    9. Atlantic City (6-2, 9). The Vikings rang up a season-high in points during a 57-14 home rout over Hammonton. After throwing for a school-record 393 yards last week, Khajuan Roseborough broke his own mark with 394 passing yards against the Blue Devils. Sah'nye Degraffenreidt caught a pair of TD passes, raising his career total to 32 - an Atlantic County record, breaking the old mark of 30 held by Holy Spirit grad Elijah Steward. The win was Atlantic City’s sixth in a row and the team has outscored the opposition 204-76 over the stretch. Next: TBD in Group 5 playoffs.

    13. Woodstown (7-0, 13). Garrett Leyman threw for four touchdowns and had a pick-6 on defense for a fifth score as the Wolverines prepped for next week’s showdown with Glassboro with a 42-13 rout at Salem on Saturday. The 42 points were a season-high for Woodstown. Next: Friday at Glassboro (7-0).
    14. Ocean City (5-3, NR). OC had Holy Spirit on the ropes before allowing a touchdown in the final minute for a 15-13 home loss. The Raiders have been on the seesaw over the last six weeks with a W-L-W-L-W-L stretch. Next: Friday at Cedar Creek (6-2).
