"On June 19, detectives with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Proactive Enforcement Unit conducted an investigation at motel on Holiday Boulevard in Covington,"said STPSO Lt. Suzanne Carboni. "That investigation led to the arrest of 40-year-old Hammond resident Michael Dempsey Alexander and 39-year-old Covington resident Denise Lachelle Hossley."

Detectives say they seized nearly one quarter pound of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of fentanyl, and marijuana in their investigation of Alexander and Hossley.

"On June 13, detectives with the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Proactive Enforcement Unit conducted an investigation at an apartment complex on Spartan Drive inside Slidell city limits," said Carboni. "The investigation led to the arrest of two New Orleans residents identified as 23-year-old Gage Ables and 21-year-old Mia Fontana."

Investigators say the pair was found to be in possession of  a substantial quantity of psilocybin mushrooms, two psilocybin and THC infused chocolate bars, approximately 60 doses of LSD, along with marijuana. They also seized $2,380 cash from the couple's vehicle, Carboni said.

"On June 6, detectives executed search warrants at two Slidell area homes as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illicit narcotics in the Slidell area," Carboni said. "The first search warrant was executed at a residence located within the 35000 block of Devon Drive near Carolyn Park Middle School. As a result of that search warrant, detectives located and seized numerous counterfeit pills containing fentanyl, suboxone, various illegally possessed prescription medications, and items of drug paraphernalia. There were also four children present in the home who were all under the age of seventeen."

Detectives executed a second search warrant at a  residence in the 2500 block of Bluebird Street.

"As a result of that search warrant, detectives seized methamphetamine, lorazepam, numerous illegally possessed prescription medications, and items of drug paraphernalia," said Carboni. Deputies arrested four people: Karen Knorr, Dustin Knorr, Kassie Hoffman, and Salvadore Sciambra.
