Opponent announced for Wisconsin men's basketball's 1st Greenbrier Tip-Off game
The University of Wisconsin men's basketball team knows who it will play when it travels to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains early next season. The Badgers' are scheduled to play University of Central Florida in their first game at The Greenbrier Tip-Off at 4 p.m. on Nov. 22. Wisconsin and Central Florida (along with Pittsburgh) were among the original three teams to join the tournament's Mountain Division, with LSU joining the group later. The Tigers will play the Panthers in the game opposite the Badgers and Knights, with the winners playing the winners and the losers playing the losers on Nov. 24 — the final day of the early season tournament.

Beckley: Mother accused of leaving child on a busy road
A woman is facing charges of child neglect following an incident in Beckley, where one of her children was discovered wandering on a busy road. At 9:55 PM on July 2, 2024, PFC L.A.
