Cunningham appointed to State Court
Governor Brian P. Kemp recently announced the appointment of the Honorable John Cunningham to the vacancy on the State Court of Coweta County created by the passage of HB 615. Cunningham is a partner in the Newnan firm of Thompson, Wallin, & Cunningham and serves as the municipal court judge for the City of Franklin.

Ride, win and repeat
Coweta County’s cycling community keeps getting stronger, and so does the cycling career of Newnan resident Elliott Baring. In early June, Baring won the 2024 Life Time Unbound Gravel Race in Emporia, Kansas. He bested 1,499 other cyclists and finished with a time of four hours, 56 minutes, just an eyelash ahead of second-place finisher Alexis Cartier.
