Bridgeton installs Craven County's first female police chief
Craven County has what is likely its first female police chief. Katie Johnson officially replaced retiring Rick Barney as Bridgeton’s chief of police on July 1 and will be sworn in during the town’s regular town council meeting at 7 p.m. July 9.
