There is not shortage of entertainment planned for the RAGBRAI overnight stop in Mount Pleasant on July 26th, and one more option has been announced. Friday, July 26th at 7:00 PM the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra presents their Symphonic Blast! concert under the direction of Musical Director Robert McConnell. This will take place in the Chapel Auditorium in Mount Pleasant.

Join the Washington Public Library for a documentary of two siblings’ bicycle adventure to find the memories their grandfather lost to Alzheimer’s”. The showing of “Cycle of Memory” will take place on Monday, July 1st, beginning at 6 pm. “Cycle of Memory” is the story of two grandkids’ quest to find the memories their grandfather lost to Alzheimer’s by recreating his 1945 bicycle adventure. This free program is for adults and will be held in the Nicola Stoufer Room.

KCII Big Red Radio Trekfest Preview
The KCII Big Red Radio will be making its next stop on the Summer Town Tour this weekend at Riverside’s Trekfest. We will be broadcasting live from Trekfest from 8 am to noon. The Trekfest 39 Parade starts at 10 a.m. and is followed by activities Saturday afternoon into the evening, including the costume contest, horseshoe and volleyball tournaments, and fireworks at dusk. Cold-Blooded Red Head Reptiles Tomorrow at Washington Public Library
Join the Washington Public Library for a favorite presentation from Cold-Blooded Red Head LLC with her Reptiles tomorrow beginning at 10 am. This interactive program teaches kids and adults about reptiles while removing some of the anxiety. The program is free and open to all ages. It will be held in the Library meeting rooms.
