    Book Bus on its way

    Be on the lookout for the Granville County Public Schools Book Bus  because it is on its way to your community this summer.

    The Book Bus will be giving out books and snacks to all children ages 0 to 18.

    The Book Bus will make its first stop of the year in southern Granville County from 10:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on June 19 at the Stem Fire Department on Franklin Street.

    The Book Bus will be in Butner on two separate dates, June 20 and July 9. The Book Bus will arrive at Butner-Stem Elementary at 8:30 a.m. and leave at 10:30 a.m. Then it will move to Butner Gazebo Park on Central Avenue and open at 10:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

    South Granville High School and First Baptist Church in Creedmoor will host the Book Bus twice this summer on June 25 and July 16. The bus will park at South Granville from 8: 30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on both dates.

    The bus will move to First Baptist Church at 108 S. Main St. from 11 a.m.  to 12:15 p.m. on both dates.

    The Book Bus will make two more stops in southern Granville County on June 26 and July 10. The morning stop will be at Tar River Elementary from 8:45 a.m. until 10 a.m. on both dates.

    The bus will travel to the Creedmoor Community Center at 108 E Wilton Ave. from 10:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. on both dates.

    The Book Bus will have a wide selection of books for all ages. Stop by and grab something to read during the summer.
