Nebraska Basketball to get visit from rising center in October
Nebraska basketball will officially get a visit from center Francis Chukwudebelu from October 2-4. This was confirmed by On3’s Robin Washut. Chukwudebelu is a three-star center from Virginia. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is the 28th-ranked center in the 2025 class and the eighth-ranked player in his class from the state. He has zero crystal ball predictions at this time, but his offer sheet is filling up. The center has 18 offers in total, including from Kansas, Michigan State, Alabama, Florida State, and Texas. Nebraska officially offered him on June 16. The Huskers currently have no commitments in the 2025 recruiting class, which has been a bit smaller for Nebraska basketball in recent years. Fred Hoiberg has elected to build the roster via the transfer portal. To put this in perspective, Nebraska only has two commitments in the 2024 class. Nebraska basketball has been on the upswing recently, coming off an NCAA tournament appearance in the 2023-24 season. Another successful season in 2024-25 could increase commitments from guys like Chukwudebelu. Chukwudebelu will officially visit #Nebrasketball on October 2-4. https://t.co/3vMFpeyiaL — Robin Washut (@RobinWashut) August 19, 2024
