ELF: Barcelona Dragons sign University of Redlands RB Tony Williams Jr.
The Barcelona Dragons continue to retool with the addition of running back Tony Williams Jr. The 26 year old, 5-10, 200 pound native of Indio, California spent the 2021 and 2023 seasons with the University of Redland Bulldogs (NCAA, Div. III, SCIAC) where he played in 20 games and rushed for 1,251 yards yards and 14 touchdowns while catching 30 passes for 347 yards. He returned 25 kickoffs for 641 yards.

The City of Calimesa’s push-in ceremony to introduce two new fire vehicles was held at Calimesa Fire Station No. 1 on July 15 at 5 p.m. According to a flyer for the event, Calimesa Engine 1 is a 2024 Sutphen, and its features include a paramedic engine, autopulse CPR machine, and auto extrication gear. It holds 780 gallons of water and delivers 2,000 gallons per minute.

Laguna Beach woman says viral video doesn't capture whole story
A heated confrontation was caught on video between a homeowner in Laguna Beach and a family that was sitting on the sand in front of her home.The incident, which was captured in a now viral video, happened last week on Victoria Beach near the trail stairs.In the footage, the woman is seen yelling at the family and using a spool of rope to section off her property.The homeowner told Eyewitness News that she asked the group to leave once the beach closed. She claims she was being antagonized before being recorded.The family claims they were never on her property. Eyewitness News reached out to the family involved, but they declined to comment.According to the California Coastal Commission, all beaches are public up to the high tide line.
