OMAHA, Neb. — Douglas County officials say a man transported himself to the hospital after being bitten by a dog. The man said he was just defending himself according to Douglas County Officials. The dog bit the man's hand near 27th and Jaynes Street just after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
OPD: 21-year-old driver, teenage passenger arrested after chase leads to crash at gas station
OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha police arrested two people after a chase that led to a crash on Sunday. Police say a large crowd dispersed in the area near 20th and Vinton streets. OPD says detectives saw a driver commit a traffic violation and tried to pull him over. It says the driver took off at a high rate of speed.
