Ron DeSantis education appointees in a Thursday court filing.

Ascension Sacred Heart named a top-15 health system in the country
Fortune and PINC AI have named Ascension Sacred Heart one of the nation’s top 15 health systems for 2024, marking the first time it has made the distinguished list. Sacred Heart is the only hospital system in the area and one of only two in Florida to earn a spot in the 2024 list. The other Florida system in the top 15 is Sacred Heart’s sister Ascension Florida system, St. Vincent’s in the Jacksonville area. Sacred Heart’s footprint spans across Northwest Florida including hospitals in Pensacola, Miramar Beach, Panama City and Port St. Joe.
Tallahassee's first class of Construction Ready graduates receive eight certifications
Fifteen students made history last week as the inaugural graduating class in Tallahassee of Construction Ready's First Construction Industry Pre-Apprenticeship program. Participants of the 20-day program held at at Goodwill Big Bend, 300 Mabry St., varied in age, background and prior experience, but shared a common goal of finding full-time employment in construction.
