Three men have been charged in connection to a West Pullman fire that killed a Chicago firefighter in 2023. Martez Cristler, 22, of Hammond, Indiana, and Nicholas Virgil, 37, of Riverdale, each face three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated arson. Women’s Lacrosse Recognized for Academic Excellence
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State women’s lacrosse saw academic success throughout the 2023-24 academic year. The team achieved a 3.61 cumulative GPA and a 3.60 GPA in the spring. Six student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs in the spring. Those Nittany Lions include Kate Dougherty, Ellie Hollin, Regan Nealon, Kristin O’Neill, Lilly Spilker and Rachel Spilker.
