    Crivitz's Werner named M&O's Player of the Year

    CRIVITZ — Tegan Werner was named the Player of the Year in the Marinette and Oconto Conference on Friday, as the M&O unveiled its 2024 All-Conference baseball selections.

    Werner, a senior, batted .468 in 62 at-bats, collecting a conference-leading 29 hits to go with 21 stolen bases and 15 RBIs He scored 36 runs and walked 19 times.

    In addition to garnering POTY honors, Werner also locked down one of the four outfielder slots on the All-M&O First Team.

    Werner was one of five Wolverines to collect All-Conference honors. Pierce Polomis was named a First Team infielder, Jackson Schramm (pitcher), Kaden Klaver (outfield) and Colton Tarmann (infield) were all Second Team choices, while Logan Marvin was Honorable Mention.

    Coleman had eight All-Conference nods, the most of any school.

    Receiving First Team honors were Logan Kurth (pitcher), Cole Berth (outfield), Logan Lamine (Utility) and infielders Brady Dufeck and Gavin Pusick.

    Karson Risner (infield) and Miles Lewis (outfield) were both Second Team choices. Kollin Peters received Honorable Mention.

    Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy had a pair of Cavaliers make the All-M&O list, with Teagan Anderson named a Second Team pitcher, while Hunter Brief was Honorable Mention.

    Wausaukee catcher Connor Schroeder represented the Rangers on the First Team. Infielder Ryan Wojcik and outfielder Luke Smith were both Second Team picks, with Christian Deschane earning Honorable Mention.

    Lena’s Logan Graef (infield) and Tyler Shallow (outfield) were both First Team selections. Colt Miller made the Second Team as the Utility player, while Honorable Mention went to Anthony Seefeldt.

    Pitcher Mason Richtig and outfielder Gavin Neuens gave Niagara two First Team performers. Cody Bath (infield) and Christian Hedmark (catcher) both earned spots on the Second Team, with Blake Holmes an Honorable Mention.

    Gillett/Suring’s Parker Haak and Alex Kirschnerr also garnered Honorable Mention.
