CRIME STOPPERS: Woman wanted on drug, firearms charges
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Greater Springfield Area Crime Stoppers hopes you’ll help them catch Renee Christine Malin. A warrant is out for the arrest of Malin, 33, on charges of drug possession and unlawful possession of a firearm. Malin is approximately five feet, five inches tall, weighs 120 pounds., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Chamber moving in the right direction, director says
A year into her role as Executive Director of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, Ashley Mahan and her executive administrative assistant, Christina Knight, have seen growth come to the organization in terms of new members and community interactions. “I see a lot of potential with the Chamber, and we’re moving in the right direction,” Mahan said. Each day looks different for the pair, and their docket can have events ranging from meetings with potential members, volunteering, organizing networking luncheons, or facilitating ribbon cuttings for community businesses. Pickleball Concepts On Back Burner For Osage Beach For Now
The concept of pickleball coming to an Osage Beach city park anytime sooner than later is put on the back burner…at least for now. The board of aldermen, last week, moved in another direction at the suggestion of Assistant City Administrator Mike Welty who says the planned costs for pickleball can be better spent for now to cover an overage of $50,000 on other needed work and improvements to the city parks.

Only Three Arrests Made This Past Week For Osage Beach
Osage Beach police report three arrests for the week ending this past Sunday. Lieutenant Michael O’Day says a 24-year-old man from Camdenton and a 65-year-old man from Osage Beach were both arrested on Monday, the 15th, for failure to appear in court on traffic-related issues while a 52-year-old woman from Osage Beach was taken in on Sunday for driving revoked or suspended.

Teen dead, 5 injured after violent 2-vehicle crash near Kansas City
JACKSON COUNTY —One teen died and five others were injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Tuesday in Jackson County, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Honda HR-V driven by Preston A. McCarty, 18, Holden, Missouri, and a 2008 Chevy Cobalt driven by Nathanel J. Jankura, 19, Holden, Missouri, were both southbound on U.S. 50 at Milton Thompson Road.
Missouri's senior tax credit is now easier to access for St. Louis County residents
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County Council passed legislation this Tuesday removing barriers to the state's Senior Tax Credit program. That program gives seniors and disabled individuals a credit for a portion of the real estate taxes or rent they paid for the year. The credit is for up to $750 for renters and up to $1,100 for owners who owned and occupied their home.
