Man in hospital after car chase leads to standoff with Hodgenville police
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A high-speed chase turned into a standoff in LaRue County Friday night. Hodgenville police said officers tried to pull over a car going more than 40 miles per hour over the speed limit around Lincoln Farm Road at 11:16 p.m. The car kept going before it came to the town square and drove over the curb, causing the driver to lose control and crash on North Lincoln Boulevard. The driver got out of the car and started to run away, firing a gun at police as he did.
