Below average temperatures and not too many chances for rain
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good evening North-Central West Virginia! As high pressure settled in to the area last night, we really don’t have much to discuss. We are going to be seeing mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the majority of next week, only seeing a few chances of rainfall throughout. There is going to be fog forming in the area tomorrow in the early morning, this fog will dissipate by 10 AM. High temperatures will also be in the 80s for the foreseeable future for the majority of the region, seeing highs temperatures tomorrow in the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the low 70s in the higher elevations. These highs will steadily rise throughout next week, seeing them get into the high 80s to low 90s in the lowlands and the high 70s in the higher elevations by Thursday. Now, those few rain shower chances will occur on Tuesday during the afternoon/evening hours, these rain showers will not add up to much, being very sporadic, very scattered and light as we move throughout the day. Rain showers and storms will once again drop our temperatures as a frontal system moves into our area on Friday. Daniel Niemasz has all of this and more on your First Alert Forecast.
