Victoria ISD board appoints Randy Meyer as Interim Superintendent

VICTORIA, Texas - The Victoria I.S.D. Board of Trustees accepted Dr. Quintin Shepherd's resignation at their meeting Thursday night. The VISD appointed Deputy Superintendent Randy Meyer as interim superintendent, effective immediately.

In his remarks, Meyer clarified his intention not to pursue the permanent superintendent position. Upon the selection of a permanent superintendent, he looks forward to resuming his duties as deputy superintendent.
