    Calhoun County residents encouraged to report storm damage to the state

    CALHOUN COUNTY, Texas - Calhoun County residents are urged to report storm damages from Monday to the state.

    If you had damages, go to damage.tdem.texas.gov.

    The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado hit near Port Lavaca Monday with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.

    The length of the tornado's path was over 13 miles.

    The National Weather Service also says damaging straight-line winds around 85 mph happened on the south side of Port Lavaca towards Magnolia Beach Monday.

    Straight line winds of 60 mph were reported in Port Alto.
