    FEMA Disaster Recovery Center to open in Wharton this weekend

    WHARTON, Texas - A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open this weekend in Wharton County.

    The center will be at the Wharton Civic Center, Meeting rooms A and B, at 1924 N. Fulton St.

    FEMA representatives are visiting with El Campo residents today.

    Residents can visit any FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Texas to file a claim and get assistance after Hurricane Beryl.

    Information from FEMA and the Wharton County Sheriff's Office.
