    Golden Crescent Habitat For Humanity to get grant

    AUSTIN, Texas - The Golden Crescent Habitat For Humanity was picked to get a grant.

    The Texas Veterans Commission will present a $300,000 grant to Habitat For Humanity September 4 in Edinburg.

    The grant is for home modifications.

    The Texas Veterans Commission is presenting $4.3 million in grants to 12 organizations.

    The grants are for providing services to South Texas area veterans and their families.
