    Refugio County deputies seize several guns, ammunition

    REFUGIO, Texas - Refugio County deputies seized several firearms after a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 77 Wednesday.

    Deputies stopped a vehicle that showed a fake paper tag.

    In the vehicle, deputies found firearms in hidden compartments and firearms wrapped in cellophane.

    Items seized included six Scar rifles, one AK rifle, one AK pistol, two Glocks, and multiple magazines for rifles.

    Authorities say the firearms were believed to be headed to the border.
