    Victoria ISD holds information for Voter Approval Tax Rate Election

    VICTORIA, Texas - Victoria ISD will hold a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) information session at 6:30 p.m. today in the Victoria East High School library.

    VISD will hold multiple sessions at various times and places. See the list down below:

    • Thursday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. - Schorlemmer Elementary Library
    • Monday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. - Howell Middle School Library
    • Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m. - Rowland Elementary Library
    • Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m. - DeLeon Elementary Library
    • Monday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. - STEM MS Library
    • Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. - Chandler Elementary Library

    The district is requesting a 9 cent increase to the district's tax rate which will go to staff salaries.
