    VICTORIA, Texas - As the election grows closer, commentators around the nation are weighing in on the current state of each presidential candidates' campaigns.

    Local political commentator and University of Houston-Victoria professor Woodrow Wilson Wagner III gave his views on the important topics for each candidate.

    Wagner says that the eventual winner will have to address issues with inflation despite the decrease in unemployment. He says that voters will want a solution to the stress on their pocketbooks caused by rising prices throughout several markets.

    He urges voters to keep themselves informed as the Nov. 5 election draws closer.
