    Tuesday's Sunrise Forecast

    Tuesday's Sunrise Forecast

What we're tracking: A large upper level low coming out of Canada will swing a cold front surging south through the country arriving in the Crossroads early Wednesday morning. This front will bring the first freeze to much of the northern US, but obviously not Texas. Timing out the front, the dry cooler air mass should pass through us between 6:00-8:00 a.m. early Wednesday morning. Highs miraculously drop to the upper 70s for half the Crossroads with the other half seeing the low 80s! Going into the weekend, we will pick up a southerly Gulf wind which will slowly bring back humidity and slowly warm our highs back to the mid and upper 80s. These onshore winds will also quickly shoot the low temperatures back up to the mid 60s after the 50s coming from the front. For comet details, read below in " Next 24 hours ".

Next 24 hours: It'll be one last hot and sunny day before fall weather finally arrives tomorrow morning. Beaming sunshine with humidity slowly lowering going into the afternoon will heat us all up quickly to the upper 90s in the inland counties. Folks along the coast will see highs in the low-mid 90s. Clear skies continuing into tonight will also make for one more last night of great viewing weather to see Comet A3 in our skies. You will want to look due west between 7:40-8:00 p.m. and to the right of bright Venus. See below picture I snapped for reference. Tonight should be the last good night to do so with a slight cloud cover increase tomorrow night. After the front arrives between 6-8 a.m. tomorrow, highs drop to the upper 70s and low 80s after lows drop to the mid 60s tonight!

Extended forecast: Our 35 day streak of 90+ degree temps will finally come to an end tomorrow with average and even below average fall temperatures! Time will tell if we return to the low 90s again. For now, enjoy some lovely fall weather! See below for your 7 Day Crossroads forecast!
