Baltimore man sentenced to 25 years in prison for role in murder-for-hire conspiracy
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — U.S. District Judge Julie R. Rubin sentenced 28-year-old Tyrik Braxton, a/k/a “Son-Son,” of Baltimore, to 25 years in federal prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release, for the use and discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence resulting in death, in connection with a murder-for-hire conspiracy.

Suspect arrested in fatal stabbing of state worker in West Baltimore
WBFF (Baltimore, MD) — Police have arrested a man who is suspected of stabbing to death a state contract worker in West Baltimore. The fatal stabbing of Devin Butler happened in the 2400 block of West Lafayette Avenue on July 5. He had celebrated his 33rd birthday on June 27—just eight days before he was killed.
Sinclair Announces 2024 Annual Diversity Scholarship Winners

We proudly congratulate these outstanding students, whose unique perspectives and talents will undoubtedly enrich our media landscape,” said Sinclair president and CEO Chris Ripley.The scholarship has provided nearly $400,000 in tuition assistance since 2013.
