HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (TCN) -- A 33-year-old woman was arrested this week after she allegedly drowned her young daughter following a "rough day." On Saturday, July 13, the Henderson Police Department received information that a child drowned in Drakes Creek near Sanders Ferry Road. Detectives went to the scene and concluded that the child's mother, Brandi Elliott, killed her daughter. She was arrested and booked into the Sumner County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
