Hillsboro eliminated Rock Memorial Post 283 in the District 13 double-elimination tournament with a 9-3 victory July 13 at Yanks Field in Ste. Genevieve. It was the Prospects’ first tournament win since joining the district last year. Playing second base and batting ninth, Anderson was 3-for-3 at the plate with four RBIs.
