    Art Classes at The Hall on Foster Street in Madison, GA

    Did you know that the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center offers art education classes for adults? These classes are located at The Hall on Foster Street, the historic event facility located behind MMCC. These are the classes currently available:

    Classical Drawing Course with Kamden Ecker -- August 5th to October 31st (ongoing)

    This ongoing 90-minute class focuses on teaching adults beginner and intermediate artists classical drawing techniques. The class is held on Mondays from 10 am to 11:30 am. Purchase a 4-week class bundle for $150. Members of MMCC receive a class discount. Although these classes began in early August, you can join at any time to learn the foundational principles of classical drawing from local artist Kamden Ecker. Advanced registration for classes is required.

    Two-Day Floral Scratchboard Workshop with Kamden Ecker -- August 26th and September 9th

    Artist Kamden Ecker will be teaching a two-day workshop beginning August 26th from 5 pm to 7 pm and ending on September 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm. These classes will focus on how to create a floral scratchboard. Class registration is $60, and the supply fee is $8. Class size is limited, and advanced registration is required.

    Beginner/Intermediate Pastels with Ann Dodys --- September 24th to October 29th

    Local artist Ann Dodys will be teaching a beginner and intermediate pastel painting class beginning on Tuesday, September 24th from 1 pm to 4 pm. This class series features six three-hour classes, and advanced registration is required as space is limited. The registration fee for this class is $210, and MMCC members receive a discount to all classes at The Hall.

    Two-Day Exploring the Magic of Watercolor Workshop with Dana Wiggins Thompson -- October 23rd and October 24th from 10 am to 4 pm

    This two-day watercolor workshop will be taught by beloved local artist Dana Wiggins Thompson. The class is perfect for beginner or intermediate-level artists, and reservations are required as space is limited. MMCC members can register for $175, and the class is $210 for non-members.
